The veil she wears

Iran women hoist chopped hair on stick as flag of anti-hijab dissent

They do not oppress the powerless, for they are not to be feared—the opposite is true.

What they do, is unite and use violence, brutality, and force to demand she hides, covers up, and undresses on their command.

Make no mistake, the veil they force upon her or off her, is woven of their weaknesses; it is a fabric of their fear, and is used as an intimidating attempt to tame the power she otherwise has over them.

But the veil she wears cannot cover up their  misogyny and shame—it unveils it.
